Resources of the Economy

Below is the breakdown of how you can get your hands on Obsidian.

Obsidian (OBSD)

Obsidian will be an in-game token that powers the world of Novopangea. It will be the primary in-game currency that you will need to pay for the following items:

Economy Play

• Rents to Land Owners / Residential Building Owners

• Wages to Skilled Workers.

• Upgrades for your Buildings and Skilled Workers

• Purchasing Materials from the in-game exchange.

• Paying Tax to your District.

Can I get Obsidian outside of the Game? There were some Obsidian Game Assets that were released before the game launched. These assets are still circulating on the secondary market here >>

Energy

The "Energy" resource will be produced from Energy Mines across the six realms. All buildings that run within the Novopangea ecosystem will require Energy to run. The Energy resource is not a tradable token and will only function as an in-game resource. Energy can be sold to the in-game Novo Exchange for Obsidian.

Energy will be available for purchase with Creator Credits from the Novo Hub marketplace or with Obsidian within the in-game marketplace.

Materials

The "Materials" resource will be produced from Materials Buildings across the six realms. Materials will be needed for the following scenarios:

• Daily Maintenance for buildings.

• Building Upgrades

• Storage Upgrades

• Creating new items to support gameplay in PVP (Later Release).

The Materials resource is not a tradable token and will only function as an in-game resource. Materials can be sold to the in-game Novo Exchange for Obsidian.

Food

The "Food" resource will be produced from Food Facilities across the six realms. Food will be needed for the following scenarios:

• Daily replenishment to Skilled Workers after they complete a shift.

• Skilled Worker Upgrades

• Fed daily to creatures while they are in storage on farms. (future release)

The Food resource is not a tradable token and will only function as an in-game resource. Food can be sold to the in-game Novo Exchange for Obsidian.

$NOVO

$NOVO is the tradeable token of the entire Novopangea ecosystem. You will be able to exchange your Obsidian inside of the Novo Exchange for $NOVO. $NOVO can then be withdrawn from the game to your Wax Wallet. There will be a 5% fee to withdraw your $NOVO from the game.
