Production Yields

Below will cover everything you need to know about production yields and how you can earn more in the game.

The Basics

The production yield for your building will be dependent on the two factors:

  • The level of the building

  • The level of Skilled Workers in your buildings.

Building Level

Each building in the game will start at Level 1. A level 1 building will have a max cap of three skilled workers. For a building to accommodate more Skilled Workers, it will need to Level Up.

Level of Skilled Workers

The level of your Skilled Worker will determine how many resources he or she produces during a shift. As Skilled Workers level up, they will produce more resources during a shift.

How Do You Level Up?

Levels 1 to 3

Players will be able to Level up their buildings and Skilled Workers from Levels 1 to 2 and then from Levels 2 to 3 by spending the appropriate amounts of Obsidian and Materials or Food. The building will then go into a Cool Down Period before being used.

You can lean more about the costs to upgrade by visiting the Novo Game Guide here >>

Levels 4 and Up

Your District's Town Hall level plays a vital role in how quickly you can accelerate your earning potential once you are ready to upgrade to Level 4. Novo will need to be staked by the Districts' residents for all community members to Upgrade.

Our game guide will post more information about Town Hall staking for Level 4+ upgrades.

Upgrading your Building

If your building is eligible to be upgraded you can level up by sending Obsidian plus the Materials resource to the Novo Treasury. Inside your Building inventory, you can click on a building, and the modal below will appear. The upgrade button will be active if your building is eligible. By leveling up the building, you increase the capacity for Skilled Workers.

Upgrading your Skilled Workers

If your Skilled Worker is eligible to be upgraded you can level them up by sending Obsidian plus the Food resource to the Novo Treasury. Inside your Worker inventory, you can click on a Skilled Worker, and the modal below will appear. The upgrade button will be active if your building is eligible. By leveling up the Skilled Workers, you increase their production output per shift.

Maximum earning potential comes through increasing how many workers you have working per shift and increasing the earning rate per shift. You can accomplish this by leveling up the building and having higher-level workers.
